Created 40 years ago by Joseph Gonfond, this small, local firm in the Alpilles hills has grown over the years into an important regional enterprise that is now active all over Provence and part of Languedoc and the French Riviera, thanks to the joint efforts and tenacity of father and son.

Joseph Gonfond, acknowledged to be a specialist in this field, devotes his times to choosing and selecting the 200 000 or so plants his firm needs every year: lavender, box trees, cypress, olive trees, century-old plane trees and a host of southern plants.

And his son, Patrice Gonfond aged 40, who combined horticultural and top level landscaping courses with a constant presence in the fields from the time he was a young man, now manages and leads a whole team of staff.

From the creation to the realisation of projects, he is personally in contact with all his clients before, during and after the completion of any work entrusted to him, and which he oversees.
